![]() Record / Playback / Transport Shortcuts.Channel Window & Step Sequencer Shortcuts.Pulls up the "strumizer" Alt w pulls up "claw machine" which adds swing to your sound Alt y can flip your midi either horizontally or vertically(experimental feature) Shift ctrl L sends highlighted channels on channel rack to their own mixer channels and names all of them Drop down menu Helpers and scale highlighting highlight scale Select midi notes and press alt and drag two sided arrow icon at end of midi shrink midi pattern horizontally Right click and go to regions detect pitch regions(Edison) find note of 808 or other instrument in Edison Ctrl b(piano roll) duplicate all midi in piano roll(don't have to select notes) Ctrl down drop all midi down an octave Shift down drop all midi down one semitone Shift d shortens the notes in the piano(opposite of ctrl L legato) Ctrl L makes notes in piano roll legato(lengthen until the next note) Alt k moves all the notes in the piano roll to play along the same note Alt r allows u to render midi to audio for a mixer track that's armed and highlighted Hold shift and scroll mouse wheel rearrange tracks vertically in playlist Press delete in piano roll of a channel's pattern delete all midi F4 go to new pattern Ctrl x cut midi or pattern of a sound in channel rack Hold alt and scroll wheel zoom in(vertically) in playlist (Automation)right click create a new point in an automation clip (Channel rack)Select channel and drag up or down select channels in channel rack Mouse scroller click or shift select multiple specific channels in the channel rack Ctrl shift and click select/deselect notes in piano roll Ctrl left click and highlight area create red highlighted top area Shift and tab select the playlist window Ctrl n(Edison) Normalize selected audio so max volume is right near 0 db Shift left click Duplicate selected(duplicate goes on top of original and is what's now selected instead) (Mixer)ctrl e Pulls up Edison/puts it on the mixer channels effects chain ctr alt z undo multiple times ctrl s save ctrl n save new verison crtl alt s save as ctrl r export wav. ![]() F11 opens the project settings F12 does nothing Ctrl a select all in piano roll Ctrl c copy Ctrl b Paste Shift and left click and drag(piano roll(parameters)) set velocities(or other piano roll parameter) all equal to each other for a specific velocity value Alt left click and drag(piano roll(parameters)) set velocities(or other piano roll parameter) all equal to default value(as opposed to setting them to a specified value) Alt left click piano roll note(s) and drag micro nudge/adjust the horizontal location of notes on the grid without having to turn off snap to grid or whatever Alt q Quantize Wrench tool time shift knob micro nudges everything(all notes in piano roll) a little to the right Alt a arpeggiate Alt r randomize velocities of selected notes to make it sound more like it was played Alt x brings up faders that allow you to adjust velocities up and down relative to where they already were, center keeps the relative positioning of the velocities but allows you to bring them all up or down at once while multiply exaggerates or lessens dynamics between velocities Alt click resets a parameter to default Alt L allows you to fill in gaps for selected notes(I guess it's like legato(ctrl L) but it brings up menu that allows you to fine tune more idk if there are any other differences) Alt s make a selected chord "strum". ![]()
